From whale oil to petroleum to electricity, humans have spent centuries searching for cleaner, cheaper, and kinder energy solutions. But what information do we have about these renewable energy systems and their impacts on the environment? Join us for an enlightening talk online by Rhianna Bozzi from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to learn about recent progress in offshore wind and to sort out fact from fiction when it comes to the effects this development has on local whale populations.
