Things to know...
Meet at St. John's Memorial Cemetery. To reach St. John's Memorial Cemetery from the museum, follow these directions: 1. Start by heading southwest on Main Street (Rte 25A) towards Turkey Lane. 2. At the third light, stay in the right lane to continue west on 25A 3. Keep going on 25A about 1.4 miles - the cemetery is on the right, a little past Scarsella's Florist. Please note that the cemetery sign may be partially obscured by trees. A staff member will be present to show you where to park. Directions from points east and west will also be sent in your reminder email 1 day prior to the tour.
Wear comfortable walking shoes. Tour lasts approximately 45 min-1hour.
Bring an umbrella in case of light rain.
Due to uneven terrain, the cemetery cannot accommodate visitors using wheelchairs or strollers.
Please note there are no facilities onsite; we kindly suggest visiting the museum at 301 Main Street in Cold Spring Harbor for restrooms.
Tickets are nonrefundable unless the event is cancelled by the museum.
